This years summer camp will take place at Meggernie Scout Centre on Friday 22nd July – Sunday 24th July.

If you are interested please email craig@gotwoggle.com and returned your completed Permission Form (see below). We need to know numbers ASAP!

The Beavers will be deciding the plot by creating storyboards!

Fire Station Visit

The Scouts will be meeting at Hamilton Fire Station on Tuesday 15th February. The visit will go towards the Fire Safety activity badge which the Scouts began working towards before Christmas.

Please see the details below:

Meeting Place: Hamilton Fire Station. Please meet/park at the front of the station, on the left hand side as you enter the station.
Meeting Time: Tuesday 15th Feb, 7.30pm.
Collection Time: Tuesday 15th Feb, 8.45pm.

Lapwing Lodge Winter Camp

Bothwell and East Kilbride Scouts will be holding a joint camp at Lapwing Lodge on 28th – 30th January.

Venue: Lapwing Lodge (outskirts of Paisley). See www.lapwingLodge.org.uk for more details.
Meeting Place: Friday 28th January, 7pm.
Collection Place: Sunday 30th January, 4pm.
Planned Activities: To be confirmed. Will be updated upon confirmation.
Cost: £35

If you are interested in coming along to the camp please complete and return the permission form along with the payment.

The deadline for permissions forms to be returned is the 25th January.

Remembrance Sunday Service

This years Remembrance Sunday service will be held at Bothwell Parish Church.

All members of 2nd Bothwell Scout Troop are expected to attend this event. It is particularly important for both the Scout and Explorer Scout sections as attendance is part of the requirements of the Chief Scout’s Gold Award.

We will meeting at Waverley Court for 10:15am. The service usually lasts until 11:45.
